We have been told that Paul Wade (ex financial director of Churchills) is now involved in another company:
Island Debt Management. Perhaps he is offering advice to the hundreds of decent folk who have lost tens of thousands of pounds due to his fraudulent activities with Churchills.
But seriously how can this con-man be allowed to keep trading in the financial sector when he is under investigation, by the Police, for large scale fraud?
Though undersranaable in this disgracful affair, one must be careful about assuming that all connected parties have been complicit in fraud (and such comments could be liabelous). The facts are that investigations into Wade were from an accusation made to the police by no less thas Karl Goldthorpe himself and they have now been dsmissed. Wade's role seem to be largely at the UK end of the business which maeks it plausible he was not fully aware of the activities of KG and others. The investigation was disclosed by Wade to the Financial Services Authority which he remains authorised by.

ReplyDeleteIt seems hard to believe that Mr Wade was not aware of the activities of KG and others,because when you phoned the Office it was Mr Wade that that you were put in contact with to discuss your needs.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that he has just purchased a £250,000 Villa in Spain and a £75,000 Boat,it seems rather suspicious that he is spending all that amount of money at once,perhaps its a way of getting rid of his ill gotten gains to worm his way out of trouble.
The fact that he is able to set up a Debt Management Company while being investigated for fraud REALLY TAKES THE PI.....
I'm not so sure about being put in contact with someone at an office makes them part of it. It's a bit like blaming the manager you speak to at a bank for the recent credit bodges. The point is that association with fraudsters or the fact that someonse has made some money (evidently including uncconected sources) doesn't automatically imply guilt. The point is that the investigation into Mr Wade (which he fully cooperated with) was implied in the discussion to link his guilt whereas it was something he was exonerated of. The most that can be said is that Wade was not diligient enough to chack what his co-directors were up to. Everything else is a spurious assumption unless proved otherwise. And for the record I am not related to him nor do I have any interest in Mr. Wade's current business.

I understand that the court case has not been dropped but is still being investigated by the police.
While Mr Wades co-directors are having to sale vegatables to make a living,he is stil dealing with peoples finances in debt management is that taking the p--- or what.

I also undersatnd that it is KG who has taken out the action against PW so were do you get or the incorrect information from.

ReplyDeletepolice only had certain timescale for the bail so they had to charge or let go, instead of this, the police applied to the court for more time which was unexpected, they were granted this and therefore all bastards have been rebailed till dec 10 - packed courthouse i can tell you - look at the other postings (the one with the most posts) as it is more up to date than this one
